It is an historic disgrace that a deranged segment of a small ethnocentric group, the Jews, without lifting a finger, control not only the thoughts of the American Public but our foreign policy as well. Yet it will probably take a thundering defeat of the US of some kind for the American people to recover the backbone to bring this country back into line with what it once was.

Thank you Mr.Scheuer for the outstanding article.Here is a question for you,if you have the time……I am not comfortable with Iran getting a nuke,is there a way to stop Iran from getting a nuke besides war? I understand that they are a sovereign nation and it is hypocritical of us to demand that they aren't allowed to have nukes……while we and Israel have them.It is tough to convince those leaning towards neoconservatism that Dr.Paul has the correct answer.They think he is just naive and a pascivist…….I really don't think that his idea of offering friendship will work,but it may have a better chance than our current threatening and sanctioning policies.Is there another way?

I am impressed that you found time to respond here, I should have checked it earlier. By spectacular victories I meant: Creation of Pakistan, liberation of Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Jordan and other places from various Western forces. What is a tiny mosque in comparison to all those events.

Again, thanks for your response. I agree with your last paragraph, but it is not just the presidents and the politicians, the news media actually shares most of the blame.

Thanks for the article.I have never understood why a whole lot of "conservatives" support Israel so much.It just doesn't make sense.Take Glenn Beck for example…..he has so many good logical positions then he just loses all logic on his support for Israel.He hates Woodrow Wilson yet he follows the same thinking "of making the world safe for democracy," as an excuse for the support.Hate to go all conspiritorial on you,but do Israel and the Jews control the media? Why do all these people seem only to care about Israel no matter how many of our troops are killed? Is it some kind of mis-interpretation of the Bible? The majority of the support of Israel seems to come from the Christian-right.Hope you have the time to answer…..thanks
